Our Story

House of Arti is a contemporary womenswear house dedicated exclusively to women between 1.40m and 1.59m | 4'7.1" and 5'2.6".

Created through the lens of proportion, each collection is developed from bespoke petite pattern blocks refined over nine years. Rather than adapting standard proportions for a shorter frame, every silhouette is considered from the beginning for the woman it is intended to dress, bringing a distinct perspective to contemporary ready-to-wear.

With an appreciation for craftsmanship, materiality and enduring design, House of Arti creates a considered wardrobe for petite women. Each piece is designed with balance, ease and longevity in mind, clothing made to be lived in and worn for years to come.

Designer and founder Arti Juglal created House of Arti from her own experience as a petite woman. At 1.45m (4’ 9”), she understood first-hand the difficulty of finding contemporary clothing that felt properly proportioned, rather than simply shortened. Her experience studying fashion design and working within luxury couture houses in Australia, where she specialised in bespoke clothing for individual clients, further shaped her approach to design.

Today, that perspective remains at the heart of House of Arti. Every collection begins with proportion and is refined through considered pattern-making, craftsmanship and fit, creating clothing specifically for the women it was designed to serve.
