Thoughtful care preserves the beauty, feel, and longevity of every House of Arti garment. Each fabric is selected for its natural character and should be treated with the same consideration with which it was designed.
Cotton
Cotton is naturally soft, breathable, and comfortable to wear. With thoughtful care, it maintains its shape, feel, and timeless appeal.
Washing
Wash inside out on a gentle cold machine cycle (30°C maximum) using a mild detergent. Wash with similar colours.
Drying
Air dry naturally. Avoid tumble drying as excessive heat may cause shrinkage and reduce the life of the fabric.
Ironing
Iron on a medium heat while slightly damp or use steam to remove creases.
Storage
Store folded or on a quality hanger in a cool, dry place.
Linen
Linen naturally relaxes with wear and develops a beautifully lived-in appearance over time.
Washing
Machine wash cold on a delicate cycle using a gentle detergent. Wash separately or with similar colours.
Drying
Lay flat or hang to air dry. Avoid tumble drying whenever possible.
Ironing
Iron while damp on a medium to high heat or simply steam. Natural creasing is part of linen's character.
Storage
Hang or fold neatly in a dry wardrobe away from prolonged sunlight.
Polyester & Blended Fabrics
Our synthetic fabrics are selected for their drape, durability and ease of care.
Washing
Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle using mild detergent.
Drying
Hang to air dry. Tumble drying is not recommended.
Ironing
If required, use a cool iron on the reverse side or steam lightly.
Storage
Store on a hanger to maintain the garment's shape.
General Care
Regardless of fabric, a few thoughtful habits will help preserve your garment for years to come.
- Wash only when needed.
- Avoid bleach and harsh chemicals.
- Fasten buttons and zips before washing.
- Wash inside out where possible.
- Do not overload the washing machine.
- Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight while drying.
- Treat stains promptly using a gentle stain remover suitable for the fabric.
